EUMABOIS will exclusively endorse WoodMac China, The International Forestry and Woodworking Machinery & Supplies Exhibition at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Centre, as the only officially supported exhibition in China for the years 2007, 2009 and 2011, according to an agreement signed on November 2nd by EUMABOIS and the organisers of WoodMac China, China International Exhibitions (CIE). In addition EUMABOIS will not support any other woodworking machinery exhibition in Shanghai through to the end of 2011.
In return EUMABOIS have negotiated an exclusive space price and guaranteed freight and electricity charges for its 13 National Associations and over 800 of their member companies.
This long-term support together with the commitment already received from the China National Forestry Machinery Association (CNFMA) will finally establish WoodMac China as the definitive international woodworking machinery exhibition for the China market.
“The most important thing is to give the market a very clear sign in order to create the reference event for the area”, said EUMABOIS President Gianni Ghizzoni.
“The support of EUMABOIS and CNFMA will stop the proliferation of new unproven events and help us grow WoodMac China to a truly international scale”, said Brendan O’Connell Jennings, CIE General Manager.
WoodMac China is organised by CIE, a member of the Allworld Exhibitions Alliance, Deutsche Messe AG, one of the organisers of Ligna, Hanover, and CNFMA, who represent all the regional woodworking guilds of China.
This partnership has a network of offices with woodworking industry expertise in every major machinery exporting country of the world and in every region throughout China, therefore providing WoodMac China’s exhibitors and visitors with unrivalled experience to produce the top quality, international event for the rapidly expanding Chinese market.
